Create and protect
Use a separate key for each application to distinguish its spending.
Copy the key into your application settings. Keep it private. Revoke an exposed key and create a replacement.
Limits
| Setting | What it controls |
|---|---|
| Budget | A spending limit sets the key budget per day, week or month. |
| Maximum price | A maximum price limits token rates, not total spending. Set it for all text models or individual models. |
| Models | Restrict the key to selected models when needed. |
| Auto | Change Auto mode in the key menu. By default it inherits model and account settings. |
